Join the Transamerica Step Challenge!
Welcome to the 2020 WFG Hawaii Transamerica Step Challenge and get ready to walk your way to some special prizes!
Participate in some friendly competition amongst your peers and win prizes for:

Tracking your steps;
-
Scanning in at key event locations; and
-
Working your way up the Leaderboard.
The Step Challenge:
Starts: Wednesday, 2/26 at 6:00 a.m. HT
Ends: Saturday, 2/29 at 11:59 p.m. HT
Participants can track their steps using their own personal Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, or the step trackers integrated on their iPhone/Android smartphone via Apple Health or Google Fit. *
To join:
1) Download the 'Heka Walk' Challenge app:
2) Complete the registration and pairing process:

Select the 'WFG Hawaii Transamerica' from the list of Challenges

Complete registration fields and pair your supported step tracker (see the Challenge FAQ Webpage for details)
3) Start Walking!

To sync your step data to the app, select 'Tap to sync steps' at the top of the dashboard

Note that your steps will only count from the time you first pair your step tracker
-
Please sync your step data at least one time a day as some data sources will not provide step data that is over 24 hours old
1) Connect to Network
Connect with as many other Challenge participants as you can via the in-app Connect button. Both parties in a connection will earn 250 bonus steps plus will see what other Challenge participants do to live a healthy lifestyle, (hopefully you can help each other out!).
2) Find your RVP
Wear your best red shoes, find and chat with your RVP, and scan a QR Code to receive a one-time step bonus of 1K steps.**
3) Transamerica Breakfast (2/29 at 8:00 a.m.)
Come by the Transamerica sponsored breakfast in the Tapa 1-2 room and scan the QR code for a one-time boost of 1K steps. **
CHALLENGE PRIZES
Step Goal Prizes: All participants that reach a step level at the end of the challenge will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
If you reach one of the following step levels, you will be entered into the drawing only for that step bracket:

35K+ step level - (5) Five winners get a $50 Company Store gift card

50K+ step level - (5) Five winners get a $75 Company Store gift card
-
65K+ step level - (5) Five winners get a $100 Company Store gift card
Final Leaderboard Prizes: Top 3 participants on the final cumulative leaderboard will win:

One pair of T20 Red Shoe Club Nikes
Prize winners will be notified via email after the end of the Challenge.
The Transamerica Step Challenge is open to all qualifiers and their families. However, only U.S. Hawaii Qualifiers, with a Transamerica appointment, can qualify for prizes.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
WFG Charitable Foundation/WFG Charitable Trust
Complete steps on the Transamerica Step Challenge and support a good cause. As we reach key step goals, Transamerica will donate to the WFG Charitable Foundations. The final cumulative steps of all participants will determine the donation amount.

15,000,000 steps - Transamerica will donate $1,500

* Apps are supported on the three most recent major iOS versions and the four most recent major Android OS versions that have not been customized by the manufacturer.

Open the Challenge app and press the Scan-In button located on the main dashboard (note that you will need to allow the app access to your device's camera).

Align the app viewer with the QR Code and the code will automatically be detected and confirmed.
